The update-system fix from 1.0.7, republished so the in-app updater can offer it: 1.0.7's channel pointer had to be published without an upgrade edge to retire the broken 1.0.6 offer cleanly, so this build reopens the automatic update path. The product itself is unchanged from 1.0.7.

This build carries no code-signing certificate, so Windows warns you the first time you run the installer. The download page shows you which warning to expect and how to get past it.

Fixed

  • The automatic update path is open again: Control Center on 1.0.5 or 1.0.6 now receives this build through the in-app updater, inside the same verified, checkpointed flow as always.
  • Same fix, new offer: the installer handoff repair that shipped in 1.0.7 is unchanged here - a refused update never modified the installed build, and a build-time check now fails the release if embedded installer PowerShell ever assigns a reserved read-only variable again.
