1.0.7

An update-system fix — a check inside the installer could never succeed under the Windows PowerShell it runs, so an automatic in-app update always stopped before installing anything. This build repairs that check; everything else matches 1.0.6.

This build carries no code-signing certificate, so Windows warns you the first time you run the installer. The download page shows you which warning to expect and how to get past it.

Fixed

  • In-app updates now install: the installer's internal handoff check named a reserved PowerShell variable, the lookup silently failed, and every automatic update refused before touching your installation. A refused update never modified anything — the installed build stayed exactly as it was.
  • A build-time check now fails the release if the installer's embedded PowerShell ever assigns a reserved read-only variable again, so this class of failure cannot ship silently.
