This build carries no code-signing certificate, so Windows warns you the first time you run the installer. The download page shows you which warning to expect and how to get past it.
New
- Eleven new Revit tools, each decided on the server, run inside a single undo checkpoint and verified by reading the model back.
- Geometry joins: geometry_join_plan works out the joins the model needs and geometry_join_apply runs exactly the actions that plan names; geometry_unjoin takes joins apart, wall_join_set sets how each wall end joins (none, abut, miter, square_off or extension), and fix_joined_not_intersecting repairs the joined-but-disjoint warning.
- Model health: model_warnings_list lists the model's warnings by their stable GUID identity, and isolate_elements_temporary hides or isolates elements to focus a view — temporarily only, never saved in the file.
- Rooms: create_ceilings_from_rooms creates ceilings from selected rooms, create_wall_finishes finishes room walls with the height taken automatically from what is above, place_family_in_rooms places a family in each selected room, and create_room_regions creates regions from rooms.
- The existing floor tool now also creates floors from selected rooms — the drawn-boundary mode is unchanged.
Fixed
- The Control Center starts fast and syncs smoothly: its status shows immediately, and the heavy checks moved off the startup path.
- From the 1.0.6 release candidates: type and family duplication failures name the real cause; a column placed with a base level binds that level correctly, with no doubled offset; batch fills name their targets; and view activation works on the active document and refuses cleanly on any other.
- The update channel is hardened: the hosted service now refuses arguments the installed catalog does not declare, before any command is sent — clearer errors, and no credits spent on a call that could not run.
- Rollback honesty: when a batch room operation fails partway, the report lists only what was actually created — an element rolled back never appears as created.
