Windows blocks files downloaded from the Internet by default — that is its own security mechanism, not a problem with the installer. This build carries no digital signature yet, so the first run asks you to confirm; the download page shows what to expect and how to get past it.
Added
- The installer includes Revit 2022 and 2023 connectors alongside Revit 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027. Revit 2024 through 2027 are tested in live Revit sessions. Revit 2022 and 2023 are included in the installer and are not yet tested in a live Revit session.
- mep_inspect_connectivity reports curve LengthMeter, Domain, Shape, DiameterMeter, WidthMeter, and HeightMeter on MEP curve nodes. When a curve has no location curve, its end connectors disagree on profile, or a size parameter cannot be read, that field is omitted and a warning diagnostic (MEP_CONNECTIVITY_LENGTH_ABSENT, MEP_CONNECTIVITY_LENGTH_READ_FAILED, MEP_CONNECTIVITY_SHAPE_ABSENT, MEP_CONNECTIVITY_SHAPE_DISAGREE, MEP_CONNECTIVITY_SHAPE_READ_FAILED, or MEP_CONNECTIVITY_SIZE_READ_FAILED) names the element instead of returning 0 or failing the call.
- Control Center adds manual setup entries for Codex (~/.codex/config.toml), the Claude CLI (.mcp.json via claude mcp add), and Devin CLI (.devin/mcp_config.local.json via devin mcp add).
Changed
- Tools and options that require a newer Revit API return a named minimum-year refusal instead of throwing an unhandled API error. Before Revit 2024, slab_shape_edit_safe returns SLAB_SHAPE_EDITOR_YEAR_UNSUPPORTED, view_set_link_visibility_safe returns VIEW_LINK_VISIBILITY_YEAR_UNSUPPORTED, and include_linked on level_list and grid_list returns INCLUDE_LINKED_YEAR_UNSUPPORTED. Before Revit 2023, view_inspect_graphics returns VIEW_INSPECT_GRAPHICS_YEAR_UNSUPPORTED, mep_inspect_connectivity returns MEP_INSPECT_CONNECTIVITY_YEAR_UNSUPPORTED, rebar_update_coupler_safe returns REBAR_UPDATE_COUPLER_YEAR_UNSUPPORTED, family_profile_replace_safe returns FAMILY_PROFILE_REPLACE_YEAR_UNSUPPORTED, and the string rule of view_create_or_update_filter_safe returns FILTER_STRING_RULE_YEAR_UNSUPPORTED.
- On the hub, a viewport_arrange_safe call with sheet_set returns the ordered sheet-layout steps without dispatching a Revit call, and returns SHEET_SET_FIELD_ABSENT when document_key or sheet_ids is missing. The viewport_arrange_safe catalog entry is staged and is not yet listed in flow_tools.
Fixed
- material_takeoff_report takes exactly one scope: element_ids, category_names, selection_only, or set_id. An empty scope returns MATERIAL_TAKEOFF_SCOPE_EMPTY. Two scopes, including category_names with selection_only, return MATERIAL_TAKEOFF_SCOPE_CONFLICT.
- element_inspect, query_batch_inspect, and material_takeoff_report accept a set_id from element_set_create. The set is a snapshot, and member IDs that are no longer in the document come back as a named count. Re-create the set after the model changes. An expired handle returns ELEMENT_SET_EXPIRED. A handle from another document, or one dropped because the document closed, returns ELEMENT_SET_NOT_FOUND.
- tag_set_placement_safe projects a new room tag's head position into the view's 2D coordinates before placing it, so room tags in section and elevation views land on the view plane. For spatial tags, it writes and verifies TagHeadPosition instead of LocationPoint.Point, returns TAG_PLACEMENT_HEAD_REJECTED when Revit rejects the head position, and returns TAG_PLACEMENT_TAG_IMMUTABLE when the tag is pinned or orphaned.
