1.0.2

A fix release — the connector starts again in every supported Revit version, your AI app can use the full Revit tool set directly, and connecting an AI app no longer sends you back to sign-in.

This build carries no code-signing certificate, so Windows warns you the first time you run the installer. The download page shows you which warning to expect and how to get past it.

New

  • The full Revit tool set is available to your AI app directly — reading and placing adaptive points, loading and deleting families, and the rest of the tool set — with no extra confirmation steps.

Fixed

  • The connector starts again in every supported Revit version — under 1.0.1 it could fail to load on one of them without saying why.
  • Connecting an AI app no longer loops you back to the sign-in page — one Authorize completes it.
  • A name that does not match — a level, grid, phase, design option, linked file, family, schedule or sheet — now gets a named answer saying what could not be found, instead of a bare failure.
  • Asking for elements by class name now also reaches element types and families across the whole document — both were unreachable before.
  • Opening a document for a task no longer hangs on the activation step, and a workspace that cannot be made ready is refused with the reason named, instead of being reported as ready.
  • Saving, saving-as or closing a document answers with a named reason when it cannot — a missing path, a file that must not be overwritten, or the document being the active one — and saving to a new file reports the saved document's identity.

This build does not update itself. To move to a newer build, download the installer from the website again.
