Windows blocks files downloaded from the Internet by default — that is its own security mechanism, not a problem with the installer. This build carries no digital signature yet, so the first run asks you to confirm; the download page shows what to expect and how to get past it.
Added
- Two new tools: view_display_set_safe sets the Visual Style and Detail Level of existing views, and element_type_set_safe changes the type of existing elements, curtain panels and mullions included.
- project_create_wall_safe can make a wall room-bounding and disallow joins at either end, and project_list_walls filters by wall type, level, comment prefix and bounding box, with a compact one-line-per-wall result.
Fixed
- The connector no longer looks signed out for a moment while it saves a refreshed sign-in: Control Center keeps showing you as signed in and the connection stays up. A sign-in file that another program, such as an antivirus scan, briefly holds open is waited for instead of failing.
- model_query and element_delete_safe no longer crash on Rooms.
- Change tools report what the model shows afterwards: parameter_set_safe and parameter_batch_fill_safe name values that did not change, and element_split_safe, directshape_create_safe and viewport_remove_safe roll back or refuse instead of reporting a change that did not happen.
- Tools refuse by name instead of guessing: family_load_and_place_safe when the named family did not load, adaptive_place_safe for a family without placement points, and a schedule filter with an unknown operator.
- document_close_non_active and document_open_background_read no longer use a document after Revit has closed it.
