This build carries no code-signing certificate, so Windows warns you the first time you run the installer. The download page shows you which warning to expect and how to get past it.
Fixed
- Control Center started from a terminal or a developer shell reported the runtime as not running and the install version as unknown while both were fine. The health check underneath it now runs with the same clean environment a Start-menu launch sees.
- An update's after-install check ran with that same borrowed environment, so a machine set up for development could roll back a healthy update. The check now runs clean as well.
This build does not update itself. To move to a newer build, download the installer from the website again.
