Connect Flow to your AI client
Flow integrates with multiple AI channels so you can work in the client you already know. The installer currently registers Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex; other MCP clients follow after compatibility testing.
What has to be on the machine
Flow is installed software, not a clone of the source repository. One Windows installer sets up the Revit add-in, the local runtime, and registration with the AI clients it finds. It installs into your user profile, so a locked-down office machine is not a blocker.
- Windows 10 or 11
- Revit 2024 and later — the page states the lower bound, not a closed year list
- An MCP-capable AI client on the same Windows account
Integrated AI clients
The installer currently registers Flow with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. You should not have to edit JSON, open PowerShell, or follow a programmer setup sheet. Every additional client is named only after it passes the same compatibility test.
Command-line agents over MCP
A compatible MCP agent can connect to the same local endpoint after its configuration has been validated. That is the setup in the product recording: a prompt in an AI client, a model open in Revit, and work going through compiled tools rather than a pasted macro.
What is not a path yet
ChatGPT is not supported yet. Its MCP apps have to reach a remote endpoint, while Flow keeps the Revit model on your machine. There is no 765T model in the middle and no new API key to buy from us.
